Cold & Flu Fighters

1. Wash your hands often.

Colds and the flu are spread via direct contact, either from person to person, or from person to object, so simply shaking hands with or touching the same phone as an infected person can unleash a virus fury. Your best defense: Washing your hands, and washing them often. Proof positive: "Operation Stop Cough" - a two-year study done at a naval training facility to limit the instances of respiratory illnesses - found that recruits who washed their hands five times a day saw their rates of illness cut almost in half.

2. Hit the hay.

As if you needed another reason to get enough sleep, here's one more: Catching enough Zs is integral to your health, especially when you're under the weather. "Your body doesn't work as hard as it normally would when you're run down," says Linda Lafrance, a nurse practitioner from the South-East Ottawa Centre for a Healthy Community in Ottawa, ON. Her recommendation: Get as much as you can to get back on track, but aim for at least seven to eight hours a night.

3. Keep your hands away from your face.

Your eyes, nose and mouth are prime real estate for viral germs looking to pounce, so keep your hands (the part of your body most likely to come in contact with viruses) away from your face. If you must scratch your face, use your knuckle as it's less likely to be infected than your fingertips.

4. Don't smoke.

Yet another reason to quit: Research shows that smokers are more likely to get severe colds and to get them more often since lighting up destroys cilia - small hairs in the airways and lungs - that help the body fight off disease. Another down side to lighting up: Smokers take longer to recover from illnesses than their non-smoking counterparts.

5. Sneeze into your elbow, not your hand.

Most people know to cover their coughs or sneezes, but they're using the wrong muffling tool, says Lafrance. "Coughing into your hands coats them with virus, which can then be transferred to people or everyday items like doorknobs, telephones and computer keys," she says. To limit the transfer, keep tissues on hand (and throw them out right after use) or cough or sneeze into your sleeved elbow.

6. Keep hand sanitizer at the ready.

When a sink isn't nearby, hand sanitizer gels or towelettes do the trick. A study of absent students in elementary schools found those classes using hand sanitizer had absence rates due to sickness that were 50 percent lower than in classes using hand-washing programs sans sanitizers. Keep sickness at bay by stashing a bottle in your purse, desk or car and use it often.

7. Drink water and eat well.

Keeping your body hydrated and well nourished is a year-round necessity to stay healthy and energized, but especially so around cold and flu season. Aim to drink plenty of fluids every day - water, tea and water-based soups are good choices - since all work to keep your nasal secretions loose. Load up on fruits and veggies with every meal. Also, limit the amount of junk food, sugar and alcohol you consume to strengthen your immune system, ward off sickness, and minimize extra weight.

8. Get fresh air.

When cold weather arrives, people are more likely to stay indoors, meaning germs - that thrive in warm, heated areas - float around crowded rooms with nowhere to go. To minimize your exposure time, go outside for a few minutes every two to three hours. It not only helps boost your immune system, cold air revitalizes your mind, too.

9. Destress and relax.

A 2002 study done in Wales found that participants who had a negative outlook on life were more susceptible to getting sick with colds or the flu when compared to those who had a positive view. The bottom line: think positive, relax more and stress less. Your immune system will thank you.

10. Get the flu shot.

Quite possibly the best preventative measure you can take, getting the shot protects you and your loved ones - especially at-risk children and seniors who could experience serious complications from the flu. Look for clinics between the months of September and November - typically the start of flu season - and expect your body to take up to two weeks to become fully immune.

10 Ways to Ruin a Good Night's Sleep

Getting a good night's sleep is often a matter of timing. Something as simple as an after-dinner drink can pop your eyes open an hour after you've drifted off to dreamland. Even good sleepers can stare at the ceiling in the early morning hours if their timing is off in any of these 10 ways:

1. Drinking within 4 to 6 hours of bedtime. Yes, a second glass of wine at dinner may make you drowsy at first, but as the alcohol wears off, it eventually leads to restlessness -- the kind that awakens you.

2. Eating nothing since lunch. An empty stomach keeps you from falling asleep. A high-carb snack (toast, cereal, pasta) and a glass of milk will quiet the growling and bring on sleep.

3. Having caffeine after noon. If sleep's an issue, make your midmorning cuppa joe your last cup of the day. Caffeine can linger in your body for 12 hours. Skip black and green tea, chocolate, and colas, too.

4. Eating a big meal after 7 p.m. An overtaxed gastrointestinal tract takes hours to settle down. If you have to be bright-eyed for an early morning meeting, eat a light early dinner the night before, meaning about 500 calories of food (and avoid anything that's super spicy or gassy).

5. Working up a sweat within 4 hours of bedtime. Vigorous exercise is stimulating. Try relaxation exercises instead; they'll help you turn off the stresses of the day and fall asleep. Are you a shift worker? Learn how to lower your health risks.

6. Smoking just before turning out the light. Among other nasty things, nicotine is a stimulant that fragments your sleep cycle.

7. Keeping your iPhone, iPad, or PDA by the bed. Limit bedtime activities to sleeping and sex . . . nothing else. No playing Words With Friends, checking e-mail, or tweeting one last time. Ban anything with an electronic screen from the bedroom (radios are fine). And turn off the TV and computer an hour before you begin your bedtime rituals.

8. Napping after 3 p.m. A brief snooze midday enhances productivity, but limit your siesta to 30-45 minutes. If bedtime comes and you're not sleepy, don't take naps at all.

9. Taking a hot bath just before bed. You'll get warm all over, which sounds like a good thing, but cooling down is actually part of falling asleep (which is why you need covers). The best time for that bath is 1.5 hours before turning in.

10. Working till bedtime. Create a mental space between working -- especially important if you work at home or bring work home from the office. That includes no reading work papers in bed. Tomorrow's task list running around your brain? Write a to-do list before going to bed.

I’m not talking about the kind of egotistical love based purely on pleasure and fame, but rather I’m talking about the strength of your relationship with yourself. Forgive Yourself

I’ve gone through a period of my life where I was extremely hard on myself. Every little mistake I made, I quickly amplified it into something much larger than it really was. I didn’t realize it at the time, but the fact that I didn’t forgive myself was preventing me from connecting with who I really was.

I know people who have carried their mistakes with them their entire life, and as result they remain unhappy at the core. I know what it’s like to make a mistake and feel like you shouldn’t be forgiven, but that kind of thinking is nonsense. There is no action not worthy of forgiveness. Forgiveness may take time, but don’t look back at your mistakes as a fatal flaw you must fix, instead choose to embrace them completely as the whole person you are.

Forgiving yourself for your mistakes and shortcomings can be difficult and does take practice, but it remains essential in loving yourself fully.

I’m just as guilty as the next person in this area, for this is something that I too am struggling with even today. But as I’ve come to realize the more you compare yourself to others the less self worth you place on yourself.

When I became the main writer of this blog back in early February, I was somewhat insecure as to how I was going to be received. Taking over one of the most popular personal development blogs in the world is no easy feat, especially when Glen provided so much value day in and day out.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have moments where I would compare myself to the past successes of Glen and PluginID, which as I soon found out was a stupid and pointless. It was because of writing this article that I came to understand how foolish it is to compare yourself to others. Only when you stop comparing yourself to others can then you then begin to love yourself. I think it’s ironic how easily this article has ‘flown’ :)

Stop Seeking Approval

Seeking approval is similar to comparing yourself to others, and it’s fair to say that we all do it from time to time. I’m not going to lie and say I’ve never sought approval from my family or friends, but I’m also going to tell you that when approval was my main focus those were also not the happiest times in my life.

Over the past year or so I’ve come to realize that my career path probably won’t be the most accepted by my friends and family, that is I want to be an entrepreneur, a writer, and a public speaker. Yet, I’ve come to discover that when you continuously seek approval from others to validate your own self worth, you’re simply damaging yourself relationship with yourself. I’ve accepted that my line of work might not be the ‘safest’ but I’m OK with that.

Not seeking approval doesn’t mean to not care. I can say without hesitation that I genuinely care about what my family and friends think, however it’s important you stop the process of seeking. When you rely on being happy from an outside source your setting yourself up to be miserable.

Believe In Yourself

Loving and believing in yourself go hand in hand. You can’t love yourself if you don’t believe in yourself, and you can’t believe in yourself if you don’t love yourself first. To fully experience what it means to live you must have a confidence in all you do, even during the times in which you come up short.

Believing in yourself can be hard at times, especially when nothing seems to be going right, but it is during those times that you need your own love the most.The wonderful about believing in yourself is that you are the only one responsible. You don’t need a stamp of approval before you can to begin to have faith in yourself.

Trust in your judgement and know that through both the good and bad you are worthy.

Practice Silence

Some of my happiest moments have occurred when I’m simply sitting in silence by myself. While I can be a very social person at times, I also need to have my alone time. For me, this sometimes means meditation, or sometimes I’ll just go for a long walk. Practicing silence allows for you to get a glimpse of the person you really are.

I know the act of practicing silence may not qualify as love for some people,but I feel I’m most connected with myself spiritually when I’m still. While I don’t resonate fully with any one particular religion, I’ve had my most spiritual moments when I’m sitting in complete silence.

Practicing silence allows for you to turn off all that chatter and self doubt and directly experience the bliss of being alive. You owe it to yourself to be silent at least once a day.

Eat Healthy And Exercise

Part of loving yourself is allowing your body to be in its top form. An occasional indulgence in alcohol or some fast food isn’t the end of the in the world but making a habit of destroying your body is. Many don’t realize, but your relationship to your physical body and mind is veryimportant.

Truly loving yourself means that you take care of your body and do everything you can to keep it in good shape, both physically and mentally. Don’t expect to have a good relationship with yourself if you abuse the machine consistently.

A few weeks ago I realized that I wasn’t taking as much care of my body as I should be, so I committed to going to the gym 5 days a week. While it’s only been a few weeks, I’ve already noticed the benefits of going to the gym and eating healthy. Small steps make a massive difference.

Express Yourself

One of the greatest ways you can love yourself is to express your gifts, whatever they may be. Finding and honing your brilliance is a way to reveal what it is that makes you remarkable. Do you enjoy to write? Share your stories with the world. Do you like to draw? Paint until your hearts content. Do you like helping people find their purpose? Do so by connecting with as many people as you can. It doesn’t matter what your passions are,express them to the best of your ability.

Unfortunately, Some people chose not to express their talents and passions because they feel as if they might get ridiculed or made fun of. But the reality is, failing to express yourself is failing to love yourself. Loving yourself comes down to expression.

Are you able to express your beauty within? As one of my favorite runners Steve Prefontaine once said, ” To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.”

Loving Yourself

If you really want to change the world, if you really want to experience that life you’ve always desired, you must first love yourself fully, because all the advice in the world won’t matter if you don’t.

It won’t always be be easy, but your relationship with yourself is the most important relationship you will ever have. Make each day a day in which you continue to deepen your relationship with yourself and experience the life you know you were meant to live. The world depends on you to love yourself.

Because sometimes i do really want to kill myself.

oh well, all these thought(above) always come in my mind once i did something stupid. i really want to disappear for a while and only appear when i'm ready. but then, if i do that means i only want to walk away from my problem.

people always say, "don't turn back. face your own problem." well, honestly it is easy to say but hard to do. i know it because i have been in both situation. which is the one who said it and the one who need to do it.

i'm too damn lucky to have a very-very-very good friend. she knows me well. she knows everything about me. GOOD & BAD. she understands me. she is nice, short, small, pretty, clever, nice, nice, nice again and a bestfriend of mine.

sometimes i wish she could kick my ass because i'm too stupid. i know she is short...& small, but then she has tae-kwan-do & i know she can beats me up.

i'm too stupid that sometimes i wish she could slaps my face. how come she still be nice to me?

oh..damn me.how come i have a good friend like her?why don't you just punch my stubborn head??

Aritok nang bukan a good 'Good Friday' for me. damn it. time ari besar kedak tok la ada2 jak masalah timbul.paling best mun ko sik tauk apa2, tiba2 jak kena tuduh sbgi pembawa masalah a.k.a a trouble maker.

ok.aku creta intro lok la. Pagi2 td aku bgn jam 6.40++ dak ya utk breakfast. coz aritok puasa penuh.(for christian-chatolic)

lekak breakfast, mekorg tangga tv kejap la tek.after that, aku turun debah coz bilit aku kat debah. so, aku smbung tdor. jam 2 ptg kedak ya bok ku bangun.(yes..aku membuta mun aku xkeja)

jam 3 aku g mandi.habis mndi around 3.30pm kedak ya.ohya, aku mok g grja jam 4.15pm for 5pm mass. suddenly, aku trima sigek msg. msg nang polah hati ko panas sepanas nya. aku xmok la state msg nya sitok.malas aku. tp isi msg lebih kurg kedak tokla.

Guardian Angel

Two travelling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guestroom. hell yeah.i'm done with sucker punch. i mean, i already watched it. i've become excited when it's come to the fighting scene. feel like i played a video game in that cinema. but i don't like the ending. how come babydoll(emily browning) didn't escape?huhuhu..a bit frustrating here.but here some of the review from ScreenRant.

"Gosh! This is a really must-watch movie! You'll never set a blink till the end (very hyperbolic there..you'll blink when your eyes started to sore haha)..It's about an invasion from the aliens (they are all robots) in L.A..they came for the earth's H2O to give power for their ships and body! It's a battle between the humans and the invader! Fuh~ can't say more..1 thing for sure GO and WATCH!!! " - review from Elly

Aku mula belajar nyanyi lagu2 jiwang bila dengar lagu ni. Hehehe...Time tu aku still skolah rndh lg. tp xsure plak brapa umur aku time tu. Best sgtlah lagu ni time tu even skrg pun.^^

Masa aku bawa lagu ni, ada plak mulut2 mengata kononnya aku bawa lagu ni coz aku nak tujukan lagu ni buat seorg senior kt sklah aku tu. Hek eleh. tak pernah2 aku nak nyanyikan lagu utk org. Reason sebenar aku bawa lagu tu coz itulah satu2 nya lagu yang aku boleh bawa dgn penuh konfiden, penuh emosi, penuh penghayatan, tutup mata pun ble nyanyi xpyh nak tgk screen(karaoke la tu) sbb dari skola rendah lagi aku dah praktis lagu ni.
Aku tau mana nak masuk, mana nak keluar, mana nak bagi sumbang tapi org xperasan n mana nak tarik full blast walaupun sebenarnya xdpt tarik tapi org xtau.Aku xmenang pn. cukup sekadar mewakili kelas supaya tak kena denda. Denda pakai MYR tau. kalau denda kutip smpah keliling skolah seminggu ok lagi. Kalau denda berkaitan dgn duit ni lemah terus. Kami sgt lame time tu.(budak form 1 katakan, duit tak banyak)

Hari ni aku tak p keja.
So mcm hari Sabtu yang biasa, aku pun merancang nak tidur sampai tengah hari. Tapi secara otomatiknya aku terbangun jam 10am. Agak nak dekat tgh hari juga lah. Tiba-tiba aku terima sms dari colleague aku. Dia txt aku bahawasanya laptop aku dah sampai. Aku heran mcm mn dia tau. Pastu dia kata, kena hntar kat opis. Ooo...baru aku tau dia g opis arini rupanya. Actually nasib baik jugala dia g opis arini, kalau tak sepa nak terima parcel tu kn??Hehe..saja aku nak bgtau laptop baru dah sampai. So, secara rasminya sekarang aku ada dua laptop. Tapi kejap sajala..coz lepas ni aku nak kirimkn laptop aku ni ke kampung halaman plak. Kata org, jangan maju sorang2, kalau boleh majukanlah seisi keluarga, kalau rasa tersangatlah mampu, majukanlah seluruh kampung dgn IT. Tp aku blm mampu lgi..hehe..

Maka aku dgn excitednya bawalah B aku p opis ambil laptop n ofkoslah aku kena tggu dia hbs keja baru ble jln. lebih kurang jam 3pm aku p opis ambil laptop n balik around 4.30pm mcm tu. Lepas tu balik rumah hntr laptop n kami sambung jln2. Kami xp jauh2 pn, p Donggongon cukuplaj. Jalan2 kt Megalong sbb itu sajalah tmpt nak lepak. Around jam 6.40pm mcm tu kami nak balik. Turun escalator(betul ke ejaan??tgga bergerak kalau BM-nya).

Tiba2 aku tersaksikn adegan yg xingin kita lihat walaupun dalam hati nak sgt tgk sbb jrg2 dpt tgk live. Aku trnmpk seorang lelaki berbaju kuning sedang bergaduh degn seorg pmpn brbaju putih. Pmpn brbaju putih tersebut memukul lelaki brbaju kuning menggunakan beg tgnnya. Ramai juga penonton time tu. Tapi xda seorang pn bergerak nak tolong leraikan pergaduhan mereka. Ohya, mereka bergaduh di kedai makan. Aku xingt plak nama kedai mkn tu.

Pmpn itu masih memukul lelaki itu apabila tiba2 seorang budak pmpn(aku rs anak pmpn tu kot) dtg leraikan pergaduhan itu. Dan tiba2 juga seorang budak lelaki dtg tlg budak pmpn tu(aku agak lelaki tu BF budak pmpn tu, coz kalau bdk lelaki tu ahli keluarga, mesti dia lg agresif leraikan prgdhan itu). Sambil2 tgk kejadian tu, aku sibuk mmbuat andaian sendiri apa agaknya yg sudah terjadi.

Aku bgtaula B aku, yang aku rasa dorang gaduh sbb lelaki brbju kuning kedapatan/kantoi dgn bini dia(pmpn brbju putih) yg dia bersama dgn pmpn lain. Sbb kalau nak kata bini dia mara sbb dia minum, xlogik sbb kedai tu bkn kedai minum. Pastu kalau nak kata bini dia marah sbb dia brjudi, xlogik jg sbb kat situ bkn tmpt judi. Jadi aku buat konklusi mmg laki dia ada pmpn lain.

Lepas tu kami pn balik. Masa otw balik, aku ternmpk lelaki brbju kuning td dgn sorang awek yg lg cun dr bini dia. Aku terus senyum. Bukan senyum suka, tapi senyum senyum sebab tekaan aku betul.Hahahahaha....

Dahla..jgn ketawakan org lain. Nnt aku pn kena juga..

LIMBANG: Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin hari ini mengumumkan nama 23 sekolah lagi yang diiktiraf sebagai Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi (SBT) selepas ia didapati memenuhi kriteria yang diperlukan.

Beliau membuat pengumuman nama-nama sekolah itu semasa melawat Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Ulu Lubai, kira-kira 55 kilometer dari sini, yang merupakan salah satu daripada sekolah yang tersenarai di bawah pengiktirafan itu.

It is through love that i, as a soul, am awakened and acknowledge my eternity. My reality is far more than my material appearance. My eternity is my reality. In Greek, the word for truth is "alithea" which means "not to forget".

Human being is under a deep state of forgetfulness, a spiritual amnesia. I cannot achieve the true state of myself with my own skills. Attainment of truth is not a matter of cleverness. To remember who i am is the truth.

To achieve inner change, silence has to be love-filled, not only peace-filled.

Many think that it is enough just to experience peace in the silence of meditation in order to achieve transformation of consciousness.

Peace stabilizes, harmonizes and gently quietens. Peace lays the foundation.

However, love actively inspires and is the catalyst for change. Love moves the universe, moves all things towards their original freedom and happiness.

Each day i need to discover the love within me and give it to others. I need to make sure i do at least one act that shows my love to someone.

We seldom allow time for ourselves. Time for the self does not mean reading the paper or hanging out in the bar. It means sitting quietly, being quiet and being with one's self.

You can experience your true self by giving yourself the gift of meditation and reflection, which are the proven way to restore inner peace and inner power.

it's been a while i didnt throw tantrum. but in this week..i feel i like to. i don't know what should i think and what should i do and what should i say. it seems like everything happened didnt actually follow what i've planned before. is that too hard to ensure things going right?

* my work didnt going well.
* i haven't renew my passport or else i cant go back for CNY

i try very hard to not lose my temper. i will not throw tantrum to anyone but my mood surely will affected. sometimes i want to shout as loud as i can. but for now i can't. i'm not that kind of person. even i want to try it. how i wish i can. f**k!

and one more things that keep my head want to explode..how come someone we call boss can't consider with their own employee? FYI..this is not about my boss..this is a story about someone else's boss. how come a boss only think about making money n profits but cant think about their employee. is their company will bankrupt if they give their employee one day off from work?
wtf!and s**t..people, if u all are now working with a boss like this..i think u all better go to other place and find a new job. it's not worth when u work more than what the company give u.

i just cant stand it anymore. i'm lucky that my boss is very understanding person.

huh. really ruin my day. i can't feel the spirit of cny if i can't celebrate with the person i loved.

Becoming a good boss is not something that takes overnight. It is an ongoing learning process with struggles along the way. But once you are able to achieve a perfect balance between the needs of your company, your employee and yourself, you know that you are on your way to becoming an effective and good employer whom people respect and revere.

So what makes a good boss? Below is a list of some of the qualities that a good boss possesses.

1. Leadership

It is true that not all good employees can become a good boss because there is a significant difference between a follower and a leader. A person who possesses good leadership skills is someone who can be an effective and good employer.

2. Tolerance

A good boss realizes that because employees are humans too, some things are truly beyond their control. So if something goes wrong and it is not something that happens all the time, allow for some human limitation. Of course, your tolerance should not be to that point where employees will abuse it by giving mediocre results because they think you would not mind.

3. Courage

It takes bravery to give out commands and manage a herd. It also takes a courageous soul to take on full responsibility to your employee's actions. Speaking of this, a good boss should know that because he or she is taking full responsibility for his or her employees, it is very crucial to find the right kind of employees.

If you end up with people who will put your name and reputation, and that of the company's in danger, you will be in serious trouble. With the growing rate of resume falsification these days, it is a great idea to conduct criminal background check on all your potential employees.

4. Positive Attitude

You cannot expect your employees to produce excellent results if they see you moping around in your office all the time. Be optimistic and smile all the time. It will be good for you and your employees.

5. Patience

You have to realize that teaching people does not happen magically. It takes a lot of time and effort so you have exercise utmost patience.

6. Empathy

A good employer has genuine concern over his or her employees, and would realize that they are people too with needs and feelings. Being able to put yourself in the shoes of your employees will make you understand better what they need to be able to produce better results. Recognition, raise in workers compensation or rewards are some of the best ways to motivate your employees.

7. Fun

During times when work is not that stiff or when you are out with your employees in a company outing, do not be afraid to show your employees the fun side of you. Joke with them, laugh with them, talk to them. Just remember that there is a time and place for having fun.

A good boss has multitude rewards. You earn the loyalty and respect of your employees, and you become their friend at the end of the day.

Pesawat terbabas, lapangan terbang Kuching ditutup

Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuching yang ditutup sejak malam tadi selepas pesawat AirAsia terbabas ketika mendarat, dijangka terus ditutup untuk semua penerbangan sehingga diberitahu kelak.

Malaysia Airports Berhad (MAB) memberitahu sebanyak 24 penerbangan terjejas setakat 11 pagi ini.

Hanya satu penerbangan dibenarkan berlepas dari lapangan terbang itu pada pukul 7.30 pagi ini iaitu MH2505 ke Kuala Lumpur, kata MAB.

Penerbangan lain yang terjejas termasuk 11 membabitkan AirAsia, lapan Penerbangan Malaysia dan lima penerbangan MASWings.

Penumpang yang berkenaan dinasihatkan agar menghubungi syarikat penerbangan masing-masing bagi mengetahui perkembangan lanjut mengenai perkara itu.

MAB berkata dalam kejadianjam 10.02 malam semalam itu, penerbangan AK5218 yang berlepas dari Terminal Penerbangan Tambang Murah (LCCT) Kuala Lumpur terbabas dari landasan ketika mendarat dalam keadaan hujan lebat.

Usaha mengalihkan pesawat itu sedang dilakukan namun berdepan kesukaran berikutan keadaan hujan lebat yang melanda sejak semalam, kata MAB.

Sementara itu Menteri Pengangkutan Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha memberitahu pemberita hari ini, pesawat itu membawa 124 penumpang dan enam anak kapal.

Empat penumpang mengalami cedera ringan dan dirawat di hospital di Kuching, katanya ketika ditemui selepas merasmikan Persidangan Maritim Kebangsaan di Kuala Lumpur.

Ah..rasanya dah lama aku tak update blog dengan post yang berkaitan dengan aku. Ohya, lupa pula. Tahun ni aku menggunakan kata ganti nama "aku" untuk membahasakan diriku. Kalau sebelum ni aku guna "saya". Semenjak rutin harian aku bertukar ni, aku rasa macam tak cool pula hari-hari yang aku lalui. Jadi untuk men'cool'kan semula hariku, aku gunakan "aku". Tak faham? Buat-buat faham sajalah.

Sebenarnya, banyak.....sangat cerita aku nak sampaikan. Tapikan, sejak ahkir-akhir ni, aku menjadi pelupa dan malas. Maksud aku, malas nak update blog. Penat agaknya...ya aku memang penat. Kerja aku tidaklah memerlukan tenaga fizikal yang banyak. Tapi lebih menggunakan kepala otak aku. Maksudnya aku kena memerah otak aku setiap hari untuk menyiapkan kerja-kerja aku. Dahla aku ni tak sekreatif mana. Dapat pula task mendesign ni. Errkk...last year aku banyak buat kerja berkaitan html/coding. Jadi kena ubah teknik kali ni. Sekarang ni pun tengah membuat mock up untuk website company boss aku(company tempat aku kerja).

Ah, sudahlah. Aku malas nak bercerita berkenaan kerja aku.

Why Women Cry
Watch her eyes

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman , " she told him.

"I don't understand , " he said. His Mom just hugged him and said , "And you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father , "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason , " was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man , still wondering why women cry...

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone , he asked , "God , why do women cry so easily?"

God said

"When I made the woman she had to be special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort..

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up , and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances , even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife , but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And finally , I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

The Amazing Race Asia

Currently, I'm addicted to watch The Amazing Race Asia S4.
hoho .. even before I was addicted to watch this series.
FYI, I also aspire to participate in this race someday. I can travel while doing a variety of challenges that test our mental and physical, and to test the patience and camaraderie among partner.

I hope my dream will come true(crossing finger).
hehehe ... and before I joined this race, it seemed I had to do the following things:

1 / learn to swim
2 / learn to drive and get a driving license(both for motorcycle&car)
3 / learn kayaking
4 / learn to read the map (in case, the brain already rusting)
5 / strengthen English language proficiency
6 / learn archery
7 / learning to shoot
8 / have strong stamina
9/ i think i should get a scuba license too..mm
10 / etc.etc.etc.

seemed that, there's a lot of things i need to do..but, i believe..i can do it.

Office lady

I'm officially an office lady now.
What a relief..

I'm looking for a job for about 2 months..and luckily on the 3rd month,
i was called for an interview.

After that, i had my convocation ceremony.
Then a week after, for the 2nd intrview from the same company.

After a week(again), i was called again from the same company.
They want to test me, and i have managed to do it well.

The final week in October.
The company called again(again).They ask me to come for a week trial.
And once again i managed to do the task given.

Finally, on 1st Nov 2010...i was officially become their employee.
So,i'm an office lady now.
Congrats to me. ^^

I'm this close to become a workaholic..

I'm dead..oh no..i will die soon..that's what in my mind in this few days..
That is because i'm really trying hard to do my task as best as i can so that i can impress my employer.Oh no..i haven't become my employer's employee..i mean maybe, my in future employer.

It's already the 4th day of my trial.
If i perform well, they will hire me and vice versa.
Until today, i can do all the task given. but of course i also faced some problem.
I just keep trying and i dont want to give up.

I want to be a 'workaholic' person. Actually not too workaholic.
I need to earn money. There's a lot of things i have in my mind.
I need to work.I dont want to waste my time.

Actually, i'm thinking to do my master but i guess i need to postpone it due to my financial problems. i will do it later.yah..later..

A daughter complains toward the father, everything is difficult.
She finds it hard to cope with life, seem a problem just resolve, the new problem appeared again, she was tired.
Her father is a cook, bring her into the kitchen.
He goes toward first to pour into some waters in 3 pots, then puts on the fire.
Soon, water boiling.
He put some carrots in the first pot, put an egg into the second pot, put some coffee powder into the third pot.
20 minutes later, father off the fire, take out the carrot. Go to the second pot take out the egg, and then ladling up the coffee to a cup.

The father turned to ask his daughter:
'Kid, what do you come in sight of?'
「Carrot, egg, coffee」She say.
He lets her come closer to touch the carrot.
She noticed the carrot become soft.
The father lets the daughter take the egg, breaking it, peel the egg shell,this is a cooked egg.
Last, the father lets her drink a mouthful of coffee.

Taste to the very thick coffee, the daughter smile, she asked:

'Father, what does this mean?'
The father says three things face same adverse circumstances- boiling water.
But its reflection is not same.
The carrot, before put in to the pot, it is strong and hard, after putting into the boiled water, it become soft,become weak.

The egg is originally crumbly, the very thin outer shell protects the internal organs of the liquid, once the boiled water cook, the internal organs become hard.
The coffee bean powder then is very special, entering boiling water, they changed the water then.
We can learn how carrot,egg and coffee bean react in the difficulties and adverse circumstances. They can accept defeat, can become stronger, and even can change environment/ surrounding.

The father said:

Your cannot change the environment, but can change yourself;
Your cannot change the fact, but can change an attitude;
Your cannot change the past, but can change the present;
You have no command over others, but can control yourself;
You can't predict tomorrow, but can hold on today;

You can't be doing smooth and well in everything, but can devote your best effort;

You can't change facial appearance, but can emerge with a smiling face;
Yes, the mindset sometimes is important compared with others.

It is the night that i wish i could spend my time with him.
He picked me up around 2030 pm..
We are heading to Donggongon..

Suddenly his motorcycle chain broke.
Urgh...what a night!
We haven't even reached to our destiny.
So, guess what?
We pushed his motorcycle to his uncle house.
Then, we return to home.

Bad night huh.
At home, we watched The Last Airbender.
Again, another bad thing happened.
Cd-player's adapter broke.
I'm speechless.Hahahaha...I don't know what to say.

Hopefully, it will not happen again. ^^

alamak!!!terus tak berganjak saya dari situ.sy berlutut dan ambil gmbr serta video anjing tersebut. leka sgt ambil video, smpai tak perasan tuan punya anjing dtg.
perghh..nasib baik xkena saman coz suka2 sj ambil video anjing dia.

.zaman study dah hbs. i mean zaman degree dah habis.
so skrg,cara hidup pn dah tukar.
xda dah kehidupan sbgai seorang pelajar.
tp we still a student in this big world.

ada a week lg b4 my intership habis.
lepas tu plan2 nak balik kampung.
rehatkan minda selepas 17tahun hidup sebagai seorang pelajar.

cuma xtau bila nak sambung.keja dulu kejap kot.bila financial dah stabil,baru sambung study.
harap2 final pointer utk degree nnt layak utk ambil master.pointer skrg ni pn dah ok.

tapi,hopefully xla kot.i've done my very best in my intership :))

projek LI sy yg tersusah,tercomplicated,dan trbesar adalah
membuat satu sistem utk meyimpan tesis2..

cdgn awal, sy disarankan utk menggunakan mediawiki..
oho..kalau xsilap, ada di entry sy yg terdahulu..

tapi, mediawiki ni xbrapa nak 'ngam' la..
makanya..sy pn beralih arah utk menggunakan perisian Joomla!
itupn setelah membuat survey bnyk kali trhadap bnyk2 applikasi..

antaranya bigtent, socialGo, buddypress, concrete5, netbeans dan juga ning.
tapi, sy plak yg xberkenaanla dgn senarai di atas..

arini sa bgn sgt awal...jam 6am..
tkt xda air..lao teda air,xmndila p keja..

last n8 sa badmud btul2...
mcm mn duit ble hilang dlm ruma sndri???
mau ckp ada toyol,teda jg...
RM50 + kad topup RM10 hilang...
so menjadikan nilai keseluruhannya = RM60...

sa badmud,smpai sa xmkn mlm pn...

Arini, sa dtg ofis agak awal...
coz nek keta..bkn nek bas...huhuhu
awal2 pgi laie trus cari info utk bt brochure sekolah..
cari info utk post-graduate n PLUMS..

first of all...takziah buat keluarga Nor Azila Izma Othman di atas pemergian arwah..

baru ja buka fb td..then nmpk post seorg rakan..
post yg sgt mengejutkn..
sebak,sedih dan pilu setelah mengetahui bahawa saudari (arwah)Nor Azila Izma telah meninggal dunia...menurut sumber, arwah meninggal kerana kemalangan jalan raya..

walaupn kami xrapat..namun kmi pernah camping bersama2..
terserempak di mana2...
dan yg pasti kmi adalah student UMSKAL..

ajal dan maut di tangan Tuhan..apa yg bakal berlaku esok mungkin bukan yg kita inginkan dan adalah di luar jangkaan kita...
arwah pergi tanpa sempat graduate Oktober ini..

hati tersangat sayu dan hiba..
walaupun sekejap sahaja perkenalan dengannya..
namun, kami akan tetap ingat akan arwah...

yg pergi biarkanlah pergi...
kita yg masih di sini, perlu menyiapkan diri utk hari2 mendtg...
semoga arwah ditempatkan di kalangan org2 yg beriman...
